    Fog to Focus

    Privacy Policy

    This page explains, in plain language, what information Fog to Focus receives when you take the quiz, use the site, request help, or buy an offer, and how we use it.

    What information we collect

    Information you provide

    When you take the quiz, you provide your answers as you move through the questions. We use them to calculate an Internal, External, or Systems result. Before we reveal that result, the quiz asks for your email address so we can send the result and matching guide.

    If you buy an offer or contact support, we receive the information you choose to include in the purchase form, support message, or related communication.

    Information collected automatically

    We may receive broad technical and interaction information automatically, such as device and browser details, pages visited, and actions taken on the site. The exact information can depend on your browser and the service involved.

    How we use information

    We use information to:

    • deliver quiz results, guides, and other resources you request;
    • provide paid offers and related services;
    • send Time Tip Tuesday and other marketing emails when you have joined them;
    • process purchases and respond to support requests; and
    • understand how the site is used and improve the quiz, content, and visitor experience.

    Email communications and your choices

    The quiz form explains that submitting your email also joins Time Tip Tuesday, a weekly email with a practical focus or time tip for faith-driven entrepreneurs. Buildy-hosted CRM and email functionality manages this subscription.

    You can stop marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe option in an email or by contacting hello@fogtofocusquiz.com. The email address is also used to deliver the quiz result and guide you requested.

    Quiz analytics and Microsoft Clarity

    Our quiz analytics and Microsoft Clarity are separate services with different purposes. Quiz analytics measures anonymous funnel activity, such as quiz starts, progress, completion, and result categories. It may use anonymous session markers to recognize one quiz journey. It is designed to exclude email addresses, names, contact details, and answer text from those analytics events.

    To understand whether anonymous landing sessions likely came from a campaign, quiz analytics may also record bounded UTM source, campaign, and content labels from the first landing URL, whether a Facebook click identifier was present, and broad device and browser categories. Categories include Facebook and Instagram in-app browsers. The raw Facebook click identifier, raw user-agent, referrer, full URL, and personal details are not stored in these analytics events.

    Microsoft Clarity is enabled only on the root quiz welcome screen and while Question 1 is active. Collection is disabled before Question 2 and remains off for the email form, results, book, checkout, and other personal-data screens. Clarity is not enabled on this policy page or other routes.

    Payments and service providers

    We use service providers to operate specific parts of the experience:

    • Buildy-hosted functionality supports the site, forms, CRM, and email delivery.
    • Microsoft Clarity supports the limited interaction analysis described above.
    • Stripe processes payments for paid offers.

    These providers receive information needed for their part of the service. Their own privacy notices and terms may also apply to the information they process.

    When information is shared

    We share information with service providers when needed to deliver a requested resource or service, send email, manage contacts, analyze the limited site activity described above, or process a payment. We may also disclose information when needed to respond to a valid legal request, protect safety or rights, or prevent misuse of the site.

    The site does not sell personal information.

    Retention and security

    We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to deliver services, maintain business records, support visitors, communicate with subscribers, and meet operational or legal needs. We do not promise a fixed retention period because the appropriate period depends on the type and purpose of the information.

    We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use care when deciding what to send through a website or email.

    Privacy choices and requests

    You may contact us about a privacy question or request to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. Email hello@fogtofocusquiz.com and describe what you need. We may ask for enough information to locate the relevant record and protect against an unauthorized change. We will review each request based on the information we hold and the responsibilities that apply.

    Children's privacy

    Fog to Focus is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, please contact us so we can review the request.

    Policy updates

    We may update this policy when the site, services, or information practices change. The effective and last-updated date at the top of this page shows when the current version was posted. Changes take effect when they appear here.
